The Venture Matrix for the Future of Africa (GamePlan) is a qualitative inquisition into the creation and exploration of economic opportunity for Africa. It leads a discourse on the proposition of an alternative logic to unlocking the prosperous destiny of Africa by creating an enabling environment that increases the participation and inclusion of the undergraduate community in the economic value creation ecosystem of Africa. It presents a fundamental idea that Africa can unlock its properous journey, if we can create an enabling environment for the young people in the University to create solutions that impact the local economy around them.

The approach adopts a micro-economic model that focuses on the development of local economies for emergent communities by bridging the gap through an enabling environment for the undergraduate community to provide global solutions to their local challenges through market creating innovation. The book explores this hypothesis through storytelling and economic development theory to highlight the potential of creating wealth and changing the narrative about Africa’s economic outlook.
