NOT MY WILL

This book is a reflection of his life journey, especially how he moved
through different stages of responsibility and leadership.The book tells
the story of Obasanjo’s early life, his upbringing, education, and his
journey into the Nigerian military. He describes his experiences as a
soldier, including his role during the Nigerian Civil War, and how those
experiences shaped his views on leadership, unity, and national
development.

He also writes about how he became involved in Nigeria’s leadership,
first as a military head of state and later as a civilian president. The
book discusses the difficult decisions he had to make, the challenges of
governing, and his belief that leadership is a responsibility given to
him rather than something he personally sought. The title “Not My Will”
comes from his idea that his life was guided by a higher purpose and
that many major events happened according to circumstances beyond his
